Check-in opens for all on Saturday, August 23rd, between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Check -in for the event will be at the Frey Dining Hall at Phillippo Scout Camp.
The Vigil Conclave will end on Sunday, August 24th at 10:00 AM.
All participants will need to bring a copy of their Annual Health and Medical Record (parts A & B).
Event FAQ
1. Are family and friends that are not Vigil Honor members able to attend the event?
Although the event is for Vigil Honor candidates and Vigil Honor members, there will be a public recognition ceremony on Sunday. Individuals should arrive at Phillippo Scout Camp between 8:15 and 8:45 AM. Check-in at the front gate for directions.
2. Will there be work projects at camp for Vigil Honor candidates and Vigil Honor members?
Yes – projects will not be mandatory, but will help provide vital service to Phillippo Scout Camp. Please come with work clothes and basic yard tools if you intend to help. If you are chainsaw certified and have the appropriate personal protective equipment, you may bring your supplies and assist with tree-care work. If you have a special skill that you would like to offer, please contact Lodge Service Adviser and Phillippo Scout Camp Property Chair Bruce Paulson (service.adviser@oa.nsbsa.org).
3. I am a sponsor or candidate, is there specific information for me?
Yes – you will receive a specific letter detailing your role-specific instructions.
4. I am a Vigil Member and not a sponsor and I want to help, how do I sign up to help?
